the past decade, the natural gas drilling industry has grow at an
unprecedented rate in the United States.
However, since necessary
environmental and health regulations are not in place for this industry,
residents living near natural gas sites are being exposed to highly
toxic chemicals on a regular basis and their health is at risk.
Residents of Erie, Colorado, led by Erie Rising, began working with Global Community in 2012 to use the power of the buckets to document air pollution and win better health.
